I'm a believer in God. I also believe He loves Him some humor. I've joked around for years that I was created to be God's Comedy Central. My life is...well funny. Sure, most of it is self induced, but still it's humorous.
With that being said, many of those oh so funny stories shall never be shared with the public (unless youtube posts that one video...kidding).
I've recently decided to take up doing some much needed home repairs in my house. Why? Especially after 8 years of living here? Well because I've lived here 8 years and stuff needs fixing. Like the lovely paint job that he that will not be named did all throughout my house. Or the lovely ceiling repair that never we never got around to after God (being oh so humorous) decided to flood out my neighborhood on my wedding day. (side note-less than two years later, I was divorced...thanks for the heads up, God!)
I despise asking people for help. Why? Pride? Probably. Mostly it's because I know that people are as busy as I am. I've decided I shall pick a project and do it myself...until I either screw it up majorly, cut off an appendage or die. Sure, I won't totally be flying solo. I mean, I have no skills whatsoever. I will be using my friends via the web (I love you Google) and in person to guide me in the right direction...but the work will be done by me and me alone.
I've lived with myself for almost 34 years so I know without a doubt hilarity will ensue. I plan on documenting each and every project.

1) To chronicle my adventures. I'm sure my posterity would like to know how I really died one day
2) I'm bored and need a hobby. This totally sounds fun
3) Maybe there will be some "dummies" like me that might not make the same mistakes as I have because of something I've posted. I like to help

This, my friends, is a rough work in progress. Bear with me. There will be pictures...eventually. Probably not a video. Swear words don't sound so pretty sometimes. But I promise someone will learn something from this whole adventure...most likely me!
